Pluggin Animation's first commission came from IBIS Engineering Merchants cc. The brief was to create a 30 second 2D Animation which the company could use as a marketing tool.

The animators tackled the challenge of creating an entertaining and visually powerful short film for a market that is traditionally conservative and male dominated.

IBIS Engineering Merchants cc offers fast, efficient service and can supply all types of pipes and fittings. This message is humorously conveyed through the Hadeda Ibis bird which appears in IBIS Engineering Merchants cc's company logo.

The animation is set on a construction site. An engineer and site manager discuss the problem of needing pipes and fittings urgently and not knowing who to call. A poop lands on the one man's head. They look up and see an Ibis bird is the culprit. They are excited about being reminded to call IBIS Engineering Merchants cc to solve their problems. The animation ends with the bird landing next to a pile of pipes and fittings. All these elements then animatedly morph into the company logo.
