, this is Pippa Lugg's first animated short film.

The brief was to make a PSA based on one of UNESCO's Millennium Goals. Pippa chose to relay the simple message of how the use of a mosquito net can help prevent Malaria.

Humour is used to convey the message. Two mismatched, greedy, bloodsucking vampire mosquito buddies are out searching for their dinner. Zac is fat, boisterous and clumsy.
Zed is skinny and nervous. The two fly into a bedroom window and see a sleeping baby under a mosquito net. What follows is an amusing sequence of charades as Zac and Zed try different approaches to get through the net. The animation ends with the hungry mosquitos being squashed by the slap of a hand.
